Stacey Lantz

Program Manager

As program manager, Stacey Lantz oversees the financial and budgetary functions; course logistics and scheduling; advising students who are majoring, minoring, or concentrating in WGS; and other administrative functions of the program.

They joined WGS as program manager in December 2021. Prior to working with WGS, Stacey worked for seven years as the program manager for the Consortium for Graduate Studies in Gender, Culture, Women, and Sexuality where they enjoyed working alongside scholars and students from nine area institutions, developing courses, managing events, and building cross-institution communities.

Before coming to MIT, they focused on sexual violence prevention, education, and direct services work. They have experience developing programs, managing support services, and implementing prevention strategies in hospitals, community organizations, colleges, and the military.

They have a bachelor’s degree from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College where they studied psychology and gender studies. They have a master’s degree from George Washington University in gender studies focusing on sexual violence and international human rights.
