This course focuses on transnational activists advocating for and against reproductive rights, with a specific emphasis on technology. One of the main goals of the course is to understand the strategies, tactics, and demands of transnational feminist movements and counter-movements regarding reproductive rights. It explores how technology has been utilized by these groups, influencing rapid transnational coordination and the dissemination of norms about reproductive rights in the early 21st century. Specifically, it examines how data activism and social media are employed to coordinate and disseminate transnational demands related to reproductive rights.
